I just received two spams today that both have a reference to this organization (www.isipp.com) in the header.

Both spams were for very different organizations. What is puzzling and disturbing is that ISIPP seems to be providing some kind of assurance or Email Accreditation (http://www.isipp.com/suretymail.php). So why are they involved with this spam?

I tried to call them but they don't answer the phone and force you to leave a message or email them. Never a good sign...!

Has anyone heard about them or had any experience with them?

In September 2008 EstDomains, Inc, (http://estdomains.com), a US-based domain name Registrar, announced a great cleanup season among the accounts registered under the name of the company. The new advanced account monitoring system has been applied in order to reveal the possible presence of corrupted data outgoing from the domain names purchased from EstDomains, Inc and every single account has been scanned thoroughly; thousands of domain names were irreversibly suspended as a result.

Wilmington, DE (PRWEB) October 24, 2008 -- In September 2008 EstDomains, Inc, (http://estdomains.com), a US-based domain name Registrar, announced a great cleanup season among the accounts registered under the name of the company. The new advanced account monitoring system has been applied in order to reveal the possible presence of corrupted data outgoing from the domain names purchased from EstDomains, Inc and every single account has been scanned thoroughly; thousands of domain names were irreversibly suspended as a result.

As it has been announced previously, EstDomains, Inc management has carefully revised the Acceptable Usage Policy and several critical amendments have been applied. Once again it should be noted that the company has its ultimate right to act against account holders who: involve their domain in spam messages sending, storing or spreading materials of certain abusive content, and using the unlawful software that provides an unauthorized access to private and billing information. Storing or distributing malicious software, such as worms and viruses and deliberate misleading website visitors into giving away credit card details officially, also known as phishing, officially falls under criminal law and is strongly prohibited by EstDomains, Inc policy.

One should proceed to EstDomains, Inc homepage at: http://estdomains.com in order to find more details about aspects prohibited by the AUP. In accordance with amended policy, all the domain names registered with EstDomains, Inc had to undergo the thorough checkup for possible traces of prohibited activity presence.

The company's statistics shows that about thousands of domain names have been suspended for being privy to threatening Internet user's safety. The owners of suspended domains were immediately deprived of their accounts along with the rest of domain names and funds without any right to claim the compensation. In order to prevent such customers from being able to continue with their illegal activity, the new advanced and more efficient account monitoring system has been applied to the services provided for domain name registration. EnterTo's technological approach to eliminating spam allocates, in the background, unique email addresses to every email correspondent. Email from all these addresses ends up in the recipients single inbox and there is no need for a 'junk' email box. If a spam email is ever received via one of these email addresses that address is simply eliminated and the legitimate user of that address is allocated a new one. Email sent to eliminated addresses simply 'bounces' back to the sender as a non-existent address. There are no filters to manage or update and no 'false positives' or 'lost' emails. The industry's existing approach of filtering out spam into junk folders is swamped despite huge investments of human effort trying to keep spam filters up-to-date and working correctly. Users still have to check their 'junk' location for any false positives or else 'lose' emails. EnterTo has a far better solution - and it's free to private users - financially supported by ads at the bottom of the email.

E-mail spam, also known as "bulk e-mail" or "junk e-mail," involves nearly identical messages sent to numerous recipients by e-mail - the key aspects are that the email is unsolicited and is sent in bulk. E-mail spam grew exponentially to over 100 billion emails per day as of April 2008. Laws against spam have been sporadically implemented but haven't solved the problem which continues to frustrate and annoy e-mail users as it wasted their time. In cost terms lost US productivity reached $71 billion annually in 2007, $712 per employee, according to a study conducted by Nucleus Research Inc. With legal approaches unable to solve the problem the solution has been largely left to technology. Complex techniques have been implemented to filter and refuse spam based on the content of the e-mail, DNS-based blackhole lists, greylisting, spamtraps, enforcing technical requirements of e-mail (SMTP), checksumming systems to detect bulk email, and by putting some sort of cost on the sender via a proof-of-work system or a micropayment. Each method has strengths and weaknesses and each is controversial due to its weaknesses but all end up redirecting suspected spam to a 'junk' location. A July 2008 article in the Wall Street Journal reported that for one of their journalists, "some 46% of their 'junk' was legitimate messages that had been flagged as spam".
